Prof. Dr. Aung Tun Thet
Economic Advisor to the President of Myanmar
Prof. Dr. Aung Tun Thet is currently the Economic Advisor to the President of Myanmar. He is also a member of the Myanmar Investment Commission, an advisor of the Union of Myanmar Federation of Commerce and Industries, and a member of the Myanmar Press Council.
Yeonsik Yoo
Director General, Employment and Labor, Seoul Metropolitan Government, Korea
Yeonsik Yoo is Director General of Employment Labor Division, Seoul Metropolitan Government. He joined Seoul Metropolitan Government in 1996 and became Director of Cultural Infra Division, International Cooperation Division in 2005. In 2012, he was Director of Women and Family Division. He graduated with a Bachelor of Law from Seoul National University in 1989 and a Master of Policy from the same university in 1992. He was awarded a Master of Legal Institution from the University of Wisconsin in 2002.
Ruby Ghuznavi
Managing Director, Aranya, Bangladesh
Ruby Ghuznavi, the managing director of Aranya – a pioneering contributor to the revival and marketing of natural dyes, a founding member of Karika which is the first craft making organisation in Bangladesh, a founding member and former president of the National Crafts Council of Bangladesh (NCCB) and currently, Covenor of the Committee on Natural Dyes (World Craft Council- Asia Pacific Region). She is a member of Naripokkho, a women’s activist organisation, a trustee of Transparency International in Bangladesh and the former Country Delegate of Terre Des Hommes, a Swiss NGO protecting child rights.
Rudi Dalvai
President, WFTO Global, Italy
Rudi Dalvai has been the president of WFTO, Global since 2001. He joined the FT movement in 1985; from 1987 to 1989 he was managing director of EZA, the Austrian FTO. Since 1990 he has been working at Ctm-Altromercato, of which he is a founding member. He was vice president of Transfair/faitrade Italy and member of FLO “Coffee Register Committee”. From 2001 to 2007 he was chair of IFAT/WFTO.He has been working in the field of Fair Tradefor many years, setting standards and developing a global guarantee and certification system for Fair Trade.
Rain Morgan
Co-founder, Turqle Trading, South Africa
Rain Morgan has been involved in Fair Trade (or Alternative Trade as it was formerly known), since 1976. Rain spent the first 20 years in handicraft and training,and the last 20 years in agriculture. Rain and Pieter Swart are the founders of Turqle Trading in South Africa. Turqle Trading is an umbrella organisation that exports fair trade food from South Africa. Inside WFTO, Rain has responsibilities in the WFTO Africa & Middle East communications team (newsletter & website). She is also the Assistant Coordinator of the Fair Prices, Fair Wages Working Group and the WFTO Representative in the International Living Wage Conversation.
