Shop with a conscience this holiday! Visit WFTO-Asia’ December Open House at No.48 West Avenue on December 14 and 15 for unique and ethically-produced Christmas gifts.
The project aims at illustrating the realities of Fair Trade in Asia through a documentary and photo coverage approach. Our focus: the people behind the products, namely the artisans, producers and retailers
During a 3-week trip across Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam, we will visit and meet as many actors involved in Fair-trade as possible to gather pictures, videos, and interviews.
Objectives & Outcome
- Make Visible to the public the concrete impact of Fair Trade in small villages and rural communities
- Improve the popularity of Fair Trade in the Asia-Pacific Region
- Document as much as possible the fair trade producers, so that this material might be used in future campaigns
