Fun Run for Fair Trade 2013

Run for Fair Trade – TAKKKBO will be on June 1, 2013 at the Quezon City Memorial Circle. Gifts and Graces Fair Trade Foundation Inc., together with WFTO-Asia, CCAP and DSWD, will celebrate the World Fair Trade Day 2013, a worldwide festival of events celebrating Fair Trade as a tangible contribution to the fight against poverty, climate change and the economic crisis that has the greatest impact on the world’s most vulnerable populations. Various events are organized in more than 70 countries in Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, North America and Pacific Rim. Leading the celebration are members of the World Fair Trade Organizations (WFTO) that have pioneered Fair Trade for more than five decades. In the same time, our partner CCAP will celebrate its 40 years of existence.

What could be better then than a fun fun run to mark the occasion? We invite all the people interested in sharing this exciting event with us to join the group on June 1st, 5am for a fun run in Quezon Memorial Circle. Two categories: 3K and 5K.

Animations about fair trade and a bazaar will be held afterwards. The bazaar, showcasing fair trade products will be there for two days.
